Scott Kinney
Senior Vice President, Sales & Account Management, Thomson West

Scott Kinney is senior vice president of Sales & Account Management at Thomson West, the foremost provider of electronic workflow solutions to the U.S. legal profession and a business within Thomson North American Legal (TNAL), a segment of The Thomson Corporation. In this role, Mr. Kinney is responsible for directing the activities of all sales and account management channels.

Mr. Kinney first joined Thomson in 2004 as vice president of Strategic Marketing for FindLaw, a TNAL business. He later became general manager of FindLaw. Prior to joining Thomson, Mr. Kinney served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer of the online financial services company BigCharts. After the sale of BigCharts to CBS MarketWatch, Mr. Kinney ran MarketWatch's online content business for five years as executive vice president of Licensing. Before that, he spent nine years with The Boston Consulting Group in Boston, Chicago and Melbourne, Australia.

Mr. Kinney holds a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford University.
