Mike Suchsland

Mike Suchsland is senior vice president, Corporate, Government and Academic Markets for Thomson West, the foremost provider of electronic workflow solutions to the U.S. legal profession and a business within Thomson North American Legal, a strategic business unit of The Thomson Corporation. He also serves as president and general manager of West Education Group, a business unit of West that provides education products and services to assist law students and attorneys in the study and practice of law.

Since joining Thomson in 1998, Mr. Suchsland has served in a number of progressively responsible leadership roles, including vice president of Strategic Consulting for Thomson Legal & Regulatory, and vice president of the Small and Medium Law Firm Segment for West. Prior to joining Thomson, he held senior executive positions at Thorn Americas and CCH Incorporated. He began his career as a consultant at Booz, Allen & Hamilton.

Mr. Suchsland has a master's in business administration from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Southern Methodist University.
