Peter Warwick
President and Chief Executive Officer, Thomson North American Legal and Thomson West

Peter Warwick is president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Thomson North American Legal, a strategic business unit of The Thomson Corporation and the foremost provider of electronic workflow solutions to the U.S. legal profession. Mr. Warwick also holds a dual role as president and CEO of Thomson West and serves on The Thomson Corporation Management Committee.

Before joining West in 2005, Mr. Warwick was president and CEO of Thomson Tax & Accounting, a leading provider of electronic workflow solutions to accounting, tax and corporate finance professionals. Previously, Mr. Warwick was CEO of Thomson Legal & Regulatory Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for the businesses and brands in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand and Singapore.

Mr. Warwick has worked in the publishing and information industry for more than 25 years. Prior to joining Thomson in 1998, he served as managing director of Pitman Publishing in the United Kingdom, as deputy chief executive of the Longman Group and as chief executive of Pearson Professional in London.

Mr. Warwick earned degrees in history from the University of Bristol and the University of York.
